Compassion Night
Here in the city of Atlanta, homelessness is becoming a serious epidemic. Some experts estimate that anywhere between 10,000 and 20,000 people become homeless each day.
Matthew 25:37-40 "Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'
We have a huge mission field here in Atlanta. Every other Saturday night we prepare a hot meal, then take it to the streets. The food is our doorway to ministry. When we show up to a man/woman on the streets, offering food for free, we are able to share the Gospel and do what Jesus has commanded us. Sometimes we see the fruit, sometimes we do not, but the seed is always planted.
This isn't your usual "feed the homeless" program. We are all about following in God's Supernatural nature. We get to practice and be a part of praying over and seeing the sick get healed, demons cast out, and bondages broken.
You are invited to join us Saturday nights on our mission to preach the Gospel to Atlanta.
