My wife and I are the directors of MC2; the January through August session of Master's Commission. We were both discipled at the Atlanta Dream Center Master’s Commission, and have felt God’s pull on our hearts to disciple others and give them opportunities to grow in God in the same way that we have had. We want to give people an invitation and an opportunity to experience God in an environment where many of the distractions of every day life are pushed aside. We want to come together to focus on one thing alone, and that is following after God. The Atlanta Dream Center Master’s Commission is a place where we aim to equip disciples, encourage them, and send them to “go and make disciples,“ wherever God calls them and whatever it looks like. We are an inner-city Master’s Commission, which gives us the opportunity to be a part of many outreaches such as ministering to children, widows, homeless, drug addicts, dealers, and anyone that comes to our door. Our goal is not to train great ministers or to simply educate people in the word, but to give them an opportunity to become a true disciple of our King, Jesus. An avenue to learn to be one that says “I only do what I see the Father doing, and I only say what I hear the Father saying.” We focus on hearing, knowing, and obeying the voice of God over our own wants, plans and desires. The goal of this Master’s Commission is to do His will, and His alone. We would love to have you join us on this journey of forsaking all for our King. |
